Cleaning Windows 11 step by step

• Download and install PrivaZer from the download page, or run the portable build.
• Choose the drive or profile you want to scan; the system drive C: is the usual starting point.
• Run the scan and wait for the report. The first scan on a large drive takes longer than later ones.
• Review the categories, uncheck anything you want to keep, then start the cleanup.
• Optionally schedule the cleanup so it repeats weekly or monthly.

A restart is not required, but closing your browser before the scan lets PrivaZer clean browser data that is otherwise locked.

Will cleaning slow down my Windows 11 PC afterwards?

Some caches are rebuilt after a cleanup, so a few programs may start slightly slower the first time. Normal behaviour returns once the caches are rebuilt.

Does PrivaZer replace Windows Disk Cleanup?

It covers the same temporary files as Disk Cleanup and adds browser data, usage history, registry leftovers and residual traces in free space.
